Why I built this
Every year: gather your documents, hand them over, wait, pay. What bothered me was the handing over — your W-2, your statements, your family's names, sitting in someone else's system.
So Numora never takes them. Anything you upload goes straight into your own Drive. Numora is only the brain that reads it there, does the math and drafts your forms — showing which rule it used and where each number came from. Disconnect whenever you like and you keep all of it: the documents and the reasoning both. Nothing leaves with Numora, because nothing was ever Numora's.
Numora is designed to do the systematic work people expect from a tax advisor: identify the taxpayer, ask what is missing, compare lawful options, check every supported form field and show the authority behind each decision. No human CPA or EA reviews the result. Numora is an AI system, not a person with a license, PTIN or IRS representation rights; when evidence or supported coverage is missing, it must stop and say so.
Numora is an independent project — one person, no investors, no marketing department. That's also why I can keep the promise about your documents: there's nobody upstairs who will eventually need to monetize them. If it saves you what it saves me, telling someone is the only advertising it has.
